We got the internet hyped for the return of their favorite Subway athlete in Happy Gilmore 2.

Subway played a huge role sponsoring Happy in the original Happy Gilmore, so we partnered with Netflix and Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison to sponsor Happy in real life, with his own celeb meal, The Happy Gilmore Meal.

The only issue? Not everyone was happy about it.

Specifically, Happy’s nemesis and all-around bad guy, Shooter McGavin.

So we had a back and forth with his parody account on X to tease the campaign.

Then we launched with Shooter himself, going live on Instagram to announce and disparage The Happy Gilmore Meal, along with social spots for all platforms.

(This did numbers on TikTok organically.)

And partnered with another character from Happy Gilmore 2, professional golfer Bryson Dechambeau.

And for the real fans, we dropped a collab merch line on our giveaway site.
